Plum Bikeaway 2017

For over 20 years cyclists have been taking part in fundraising cycling events for the Pershore Unit of St John Ambulance and the Vale of Evesham Community First Responders.

Pershore College welcomes the NEW Plum Bikeaway on Sunday 17 September 2017. Bringing
the community together for a fun-filled event. Pershore is famous for its plums and there is even a month long festival in August to celebrate this fruit.

Starting from Pershore College, the regional centre for the Royal Horticultural Society, cyclists will have a choice of three plum routes to choose from:


Purple Plum Route – 49 Miles

A challenging and exciting 49 mile journey of beautiful scenery.

Yellow Egg Plum Route  – 19 Miles

A 19 mile trip perfect for the whole family.

Greengage Route – 8 Miles

A leisurely 8 mile tour of the Worcestershire countryside.

Registration will be from 9:00am and last entries will be taken at 11:00am. Water is provided along the routes and a first aid support vehicle will be on hand at all times if required.

The official start of the Purple Plum route is at 9:30am and the rest of the routes will start 9:45am. Maps will be available upon registration (or on request prior to the event).


If you would like to take part in the NEW Plum Bikeaway, please complete one entry form per cyclist and return to the address provided. One your entry is received; you will then receive further details including sponsorship forms, route maps and safety information.
